The RX Series utilize a hydraulic valve to brake quickly and safely. An audible sound is heard during shutdown to indicate the blades stopped spinning. The direct drive bearing requires a 1200-hour drain and refill maintenance interval. Many competitors typically require maintenance intervals as low as 500 hours.
The auxiliary hoses to the prime mover are individually protected with a Cordura sleeve and collectively wrapped with an additional spiral hose protector to prevent hose damage. cutters come standard with a motor cover that protects the hydraulic hose connections from debris. Many competitive models leave these components exposed and vulnerable to damage.
A heavy-duty front push bar is integrated into the rotary cutter deck structure which can be used to guide trees when felling. Aggressively serrated corners of the push bar are useful to maneuver trees and brush.
