John Deere's G5/G5ᴾˡᵘˢ and Gen 4 displays support documentation of implement-based field operations across various controller brands, offering real-time data visibility and compatibility with select third-party GPS and controllers. While features like Section Control work with third-party RS232 GPS, AutoTrac™ steering does not.

The G5ᴾˡᵘˢ Universal Display replaces the Gen 4 4640 and features a 12.8-in. (32.5-cm) HD touchscreen that supports John Deere’s full suite of precision ag tools, including AutoTrac™ guidance, Section Control, and Data Sync. It ships with key features pre-installed and offers optional licenses like AutoTrac RowSense™ and Advanced Licenses to enhance accuracy and automation.

The G5ᴾˡᵘˢ Universal Display improves efficiency with precise multi‑product application, fast processing, a high‑resolution screen, and integrated guidance and monitoring tools.
